It’s Back to School Time: Volunteer to Empower Kids with Lifelong Money Skills

Parents look forward to continuing to guide their children along their academic journey, and can also support their children’s education by volunteering in local schools.  More than 25 percent of U.S. adults volunteered for an organization…

It was a privilege interacting with students and teachers! The experience has given me a new, profound respect for the profession.

I thoroughly enjoyed the program and working with the kids.  They were a delight!  They participated in the discussions and activities, and seemed excited for our session each week.  They remembered what we talked about from week to week!

It was great to teach young kids about money and the community they live in.  I would definitely do this again.

I really enjoyed the class and the kids looked forward to my weekly visit, which in itself was very rewarding.  Thanks for a great opportunity!

I thoroughly enjoyed volunteering and it provided a great break to get out of the office and definitely made my day better.

We want our students to be future ready.  Junior Achievement helps them start this process at an early age.

My students really enjoyed working with and learning from our JA volunteers.  The activities were interactive and my students learned a lot about being citizens of a community!

My students LOVED the JA Day! They are still talking about it!  They enjoyed the stories and hands-on activities that the volunteers did with them.  I thought the lessons were engaging.  The students really were interested in the concepts and participated in the discussions.

This was my first experience with JA and the staff was very pleasant to work with.  The material was fun interactive, and the kids loved it. Thanks!

This was my first volunteer experience and I thoroughly enjoyed it! JA does a wonderful job providing lesson plans and materials. I couldn’t have asked for a better first experience…will most definitely do it again.
